Fake DIY Exclusive: Free Download of 'Immersed' and view the Album Sampler
We’re just over a month away from the launch, so here’s a video preview of the album and a Free Download of ‘Immersed’ (via DIY)
We’ve been out filming the projections for our album launch show. Our good friend and fearless camera man James Tew has been lending a much needed hand. When we told him we needed film of a waterfall we didn’t quite imagine he’d put his whole tripod and camera in the water. He’s a brave man.
Thanks James.
DIVE IN
Dear Readers,
Every album needs a proper launch, so we’ve gone all out on this one… Together with Comets and Cartwheels we’re putting on a show at The Govanhill Baths, a disused Victorian Swimming pool in Glasgow. Its going to be a true spectacle of environmental artistry, projection, theatrics with our own brand of atmospheric music to top it all off.
The pool has a 6.5 second natural reverb, what more can you ask for!
So, join us please on 31/05/2013 at 8pm sharp.
Tickets available HERE.
Facebook event page HERE.
We’ll be joined by our good friends Fake Major, who’ll be providing fantastic support. The stage is being built as we speak.
Massive thanks to PRSF for part funding the event.

The Cutting Room
We’re getting round to editing the video for the first single that’s going to be released in the run up to the album launch. The video is a collaboration between us and the great folks at Comets and Cartwheels. Monika Directed and Produced, Vicki headed up the Filming and Paul made sure we all came home with ten fingers and ten toes. The rest of us ran around the beach for two days. We shot it on a cold January weekend near Ardrossan with a cast/crew of 20. Why do we keep filming outdoors in January… when will we learn?
Vicki from Comets and Cartwheels has spent the last couple of weeks downloading the footage from the cameras and slowing it down to a staggering 16 hours of slow-mo film. Well, at least we’ve got plenty options! Initial results are promising, but we’re only 1:44 in.
The main star of the show is an antique Granddaughter clock who is now well beyond restoration.
Her pendulum swung for the last time, her chime sounded its last chime, and as her hands pointed to 17:43 she went out with a bang. (What does it all mean?)
